a dispute or transform a situation than those living with it. As neutral 
facilitators, we at The Mediation Group create a safe, supportive
and confidential environment for individuals or organizations to work 
through their conflict together; challenging, supporting and guiding participants to take responsibility for the process and communicate openly to develop
and design a lasting solution that works for them. The process is confidential, 
cost-effective and flexible - designed to meet the specific needs 
of each participant or organization.

Participants in the process are actively involved not only in the 
decision-making, but in how they will work together – allowing for a process uniquely designed by the participants to accomplish their specific goals and address their unique needs. With the guidance of the mediator, the participants develop the ground rules and the structure used in their mediation
or conflict management, as well as the criteria for making decisions. 
Throughout the process, participants have the opportunity to 
collaboratively define and clarify the issues to be determined, develop their views and interests and explore possible solutions.

When appropriate, the participants may bring experts or counsel directly
 into the mediation or conflict management process. 

Working with us at The Mediation Group the participants gain a deeper
 understanding of their own and each other’s viewpoints, needs and interests 
and the realities they face. The mediator will also ensure that the participants develop and understand the legal, practical and business implications of their decisions while exploring creative options that may be independent of the legal parameters, as suit their needs and interests. With clarity and understanding gained in the process, the participants are enabled to develop solutions that work for the individual or organization and which give consideration to their unique personal, business and economic interests.
